How This Oil Painting Was Created | St. George Church in Mughni

This video shows the creation of an original oil painting depicting St. George Church in Mughni, Armenia. The work develops gradually from the initial drawing and first colour layers to the final details and completed painting. The process reflects Meruzhan Khachatryan’s approach to traditional oil painting, with particular attention to composition, light, colour and atmosphere. Through this work, the artist explores the character of Armenian architecture and the quiet beauty of its surrounding landscape.
