Biography
I am a figurative painter working in oils. I find myself working on a painting for months, returning to it time and time again until it reaches a point I am excited by.

Beauty, liberation, freedom and a sense of space are the elements I strive to portray. I am drawn to my subjects by their artistic performance or expression. Inspired by the colourful characters I meet and my love of the extraordinary. Capturing moments from memories and imagination and using photos for inspiration I combine the brush and palette knife to create works with texture and contrast.
