Delighted with all aspects of this purchase. Anton Maliar was very helpful and reassuring when the transportation of the artwork was delayed due to the current pandemic slow-down. It arrived when he had predicted. The artwork is really lovely.

Dear Susannah, thank you very much for communicating with me and for your review. I understand your frustration. Indeed, due to the pandemic, there are disruptions in post office operations. My average delivery time to the UK is 10 to 14 workings days, but at the moment delivery may take up to 4 to 6 weeks. I hope you will receive my artwork within a short time and in perfect condition. I tried my best to represent the artwork on the Artfinder, giving it a detailed description and an accurate photo, true to colors. First of all, I love the painting and it looks amazing now that it's finally up on the wall. So well done! But there have been a couple of issues I'm afraid. 1. Delivery and packaging - the painting was delivered to a different address, I only found the address when I called Parcel Force. Thankfully it was on our street and we were able to retrieve it. The package was beyond damaged and the painting bent and I was honestly surprised the painting was in one piece. It looks like it was repackaged at customs and in the process they also wrote the address wrong. I guess this not the artist's fault but still made it a bit stressful for me. 2. The painting is on canvas paper rather than canvas. This has made the painting quite fragile and very difficult to have it stretched. I've taken it to a number of framers (there are plenty around where we are) and nobody wanted to do it, for fear they would rip it. Some of them recommended very costly options (mounting on aluminium or foam and then framing etc). In the end, I found someone who managed to stretch it and so it's finally on the wall. I have to say again, it's a lovely painting, looks amazing in my living room and it's a real talking point. I would say though, maybe canvas paper is not the best medium for an artwork of this size.
