The painting brings us joy and is a center piece of our home. It reminds me of early morning hikes in the Pacific Northwest, before the day has fully begun, when the world feels untouched.

Absolutely stunning painting. Anne is clearly not only a brilliant artist but also hugely efficient as the painting arrived very quickly and really well protected and she communicated each step of the way. I have a feeling there maybe a few more Anne Shaughnessy paintings in our house before too long!

I knew I wanted to find a piece of landscape art that shows our 1-year old the beauty of the world outside of his suburban neighborhood. The idea being whenever it catches his attention, he would be intrigued and build a desire to visit such places down the road. After a collective couple of hours searching Artfinder for the first time, I was stopped right in my tracks by the magnificence of Anne Shaughnessy’s Road in the Rockies. I was elated to find it was available and affordable, and even more excited we could have such a stunning piece in our family for generations to come. Upon receipt, it was amazing to see it have a life of its own from multiple distances and angles, and under different lighting. I am grateful that Anne shares her gift and obvious love for what she does because every member of our household already loves the piece in return. Road in the Rockies is mesmerizing, inspiring, and all around beautiful! I could not be happier and consider myself lucky to come across it. I look forward to visiting the Canadian Rockies again, this time with the little ones in tow so they can experience the reality captured in Anne’s work. When the opportunity presents itself, I will certainly look to acquire another work of art from Anne. We highly recommend her based on the happiness she has brought us through her ability to put paint to canvas with gorgeous results.
