Altogether, a VERY GOOD experience and, as a 'frequent buyer', I knew the likely extra cost of delivery and customs from Europe, so no surprises with Andrej at all. General 'overseas', purchases. Just so that EVERYONE has a great experience, I do think Artfinder could make more of an estimated customs charges into the UK at the point that people are considering making an offer. I don't know how is it worked out but must assume that it is related to the sales value, inc delivery cost? Either way, even though 'you' DO warn people of such charges, a guide cost might be helpful to the buyer and seller, providing, a happy introduction to buying on Artfinder . . all costs being totally transparent, even if they are guide costs. In a DIFFERENT but recent purchase from a non-EU, European country of £270 in fact cost me £328.98, that being made up of the item + £27.50 delivery + £31.48 customs. In this case, del + customs added around 22% to the cost of the painting.

Highly recommend Andrej! He is not only very talented but also very kind. His work is so wonderfully vibrant with color and energy. And he packages his art so well that it arrives from overseas with no damage. My husband and I were looking for the perfect sunrise painting to hang in our new home near the beach. After looking for a year, we discovered Andrej’s work. It was perfect! Except too large for the space. We contacted Andrej through the Artfinder app and he agreed to create a new painting with the dimensions we needed. In fact, he went so far as to suggest the largest size possible that would still allow the painting to be shipped on a frame rather than rolled and placed in a tube. We truly appreciate Andrej.
