Biography
My primary subject matter is the human figure, whether drawing from a live model at life drawing classes or commissioned portraiture, the figure is a never ending source of inspiration. I love to experiment with new combinations of colours and techniques, and different materials and processes such as figure embroidery and collage.
I've exhibited around the city of Manchester as well as organising my own art events. I am influenced to a large extant by German expressionism and figurative artists such as Egon Schiele and but also love contemporary figure painters such as Euan Uglow.
I very much enjoy working directly with clients for custom portrait work and specially designed pieces for your unique space.
