    After graduating from Wimbledon School of Art, Andrew won a placement as resident artist at the world famous Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. "The Dutch city focussed my mind to painting landscapes," says Andrew, who takes much inspiration from painters such as Edward Hopper, Giorgio Morandi, and David Prentice as well as the old masters. Andrew's oil paintings are bold in colour and concentrate on his local natural landscape capturing the essence of light and water, and areas of his own particular passion, such as Venice, Majorca and Morocco. Andrew divides his time between Barnes, SW London and Lymington with his wife Ally and daughter Ella.
