To Whom It May Concern! It was quite a surprise and disappointment to find out that painting has been done in a piece of paper and glued to the cardboard and the whole piece was glued to the frame which was not a proper framing as you do not put a small delicate painting to the heavy dark colored frame. As I tried to remove the painting from the frame, with all of the efforts that I used, the painting completely got damaged. You need to inform your artist that acyclic especially with a texture do not use paper. It should have been painted on a canvas which do not cost more than $3.00. Overall, it was quite a disappointment, as the painting was not salvageable. I am an artist myself and been in the gallery business for 48 years. The artists should have little more integrity for his work. Please let him know to paint on canvas not on a piece of paper or cardboard. I apologize to be straight forward with you. Hi, I am so very sorry you feel this way. I do not understand however why you didn't utilise artfinder's communication tools to enquire if you could have the piece without the frame before buying it as seen, as you had viewed this. Also there is a two week 'try at home' service by artfinder for which you could have returned the item or requested I re frame for you when you saw it in reality. You say you do not put a delicate painting in a dark frame yet you bought it this way. I'm sorry to say that I do take offence at you bringing my integrity as an artist into your review as this is highly unjustified and I would gladly have responded to any queries or accepted a return before the work was ruined by peeling it away from it's backing. That seems a strange thing to do. People have commented well on the framing service I provide within these reviews. I am sorry that you are unhappy.
