    I like to make mono-prints back in the studio based on memories of the forest. This is usually very experimental and free. The 'happy accident' is always welcome.

    Mono printing in my studio

    The studio is busy with paintings and I decide to take a break from the paintbrush and get out the printing inks. I love experimenting with different textures and building up the image. It is refreshing to find new ways of describing the forest and this technique can throw up unexpected results.

    This is a view of my studio. As I live opposite Epping Forest, I often start painting in the forest and then come back to my cosy studio to finish off. As you can see, I love natural objects and have quite a collection of bones!
