About Alina Mar

My main motivation when creating an artwork is often based on some of the political issues that I find important to reflect on. Most of them have to do with basic human rights and the relationship people have with the state. I often try to take a simple approach and use simple forms and styles to express my view on those issues. I believe that it is crucial for all artists to take into account and examine events of the modern day that concern the society.
