About Alice Malone

I am a Worcestershire based artist practicing for over twenty years. I paint portraits, to capture likeness and personality in a contemporary painting style. I often use narrative as a starting point to inspire my paintings that convey a theatrical essence. I am also passionate about capturing moments of travel and culture, many of my paintings depict scenes from different foreign locations that have inspired me over the years. My main objectives are to emphasise colour, light and perspective through an exploration of modern painting. Along side my portrait painting I have painted scenes from my travels I often depicted vivid scenes of European facades and vivid landscape. I have enjoyed these both as commissions and for my own practice, and I believe that art finder would be an excellent platform to market this. I believe the vivid and exciting nature of my paintings would attract the online audience art finder would provide.
