  • Biography
I work out of a shed in my back garden, using a variety of found and purchased materials.

I have always been fascinated by the visual representation of concepts, ideas and philosophical notions. I love making things, whether it be an image, a sculpture, a film or a written story. Art is the most fun way to combine the practical and metaphysical. So I love making art that expresses ideas or tells a story. A simple idea or question will often inform the seed of the idea for the artwork I want to create. These ideas are often metaphysical, psychological or philosophical. From there I try to create an image or scene which distils that single idea into a visual narrative that makes the viewer pause and think about what is in front of them. Each artwork represents a single moment within a wider imagined narrative. Things I like and try and include in my art: ideas, concepts, contrast, neon, typography, stars, space, definition, craft, time, memory, people, skulls, texture, narrative. I would love people to be able to experience and engage with the art I create. I would love to sell a few pieces to enable me more time to think more and to create more.
