About Alexandra Larion

  • Biography
I am a young artist from Romania. I now live in London in order to finish my studies in Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture. Before that, I have studied Graphic Arts and Painting back home. Art is my biggest passion and I am working hard on keeping it in my life. Maybe, who knows, at some point in my life I will be able to dedicate myself fulltime to it. My main interest is in Painting, particularly Portrait Painting. However, I started by studying landscapes and other subjects until I discovered what a strong and meaningful connection can be created with a model. I usually invite people in my studio and while we discuss different subjects I paint them. My recent project is about Fear and you will see some examples attached. My main purpose here is to make my art be seen as art by making it available to an audience. I strongly believe that art must be seen, felt or touched in order to be valid. Also, I want my artworks to become someone else joy, even if the separation of them will not be easy. Lastly, I want to continue and be able to create and the drive will surely come from people's feedback and support.
