  • The banker of art

    I've been on the run for a long time. It is now clear to me that the strong powers want me dead. Before it was different, I had a family, a name and a surname ... I spent my existence in the light of the sun, in short, but above all, I looked for and found beauty everywhere. I remember that at that time, people loved looking for true emotions, and lightness, and love. The damned virus, yes, that damned virus, "the algorithm" had not yet spread and therefore incredibly you could think for yourself ... Yes, I know, it seems impossible today, it seems impossible that at the same time we still talked to real friends in flesh and blood, for example I met my parents at dusk at the pier of the tourist port and together they often drank one or two beers ... At the same time I remember that there were even art galleries in every city I visited. The artists at that time were still working and people could even meet them, talk to them, deepening the most interesting themes, or simply to have some fun in company ... Now I am here alone, I hide in the slums, one night under a bridge and another under an olive tree in the countryside ... But I still continue to search, and to go around and search, search, search everywhere for "beauty" .. . Then one day suddenly he knew I had to do something, and then, he covered my face, and I started to fight ... My goal? As a true banker of the past, my damned goal is to find and preserve beauty ... at least, the one I can still express. Yes, I am forced to run away from ugliness all the time, and from the strong powers, and above all from that fucking and damned algorithm. If I'm afraid ... of course I'm fucking afraid, my masked photos are everywhere and they are looking for me ... and they will continue to do so I run away, run away for years, but I create, I create and I will continue to create and believe in it, create and believe in it. .. May day, may day, if anyone is listening please help me give me the position of him! May day, may day, my day I don't have much to offer but it will still be nice for me to try!

    The friend Manu Coco, breeder, instructor, entrepreneur, as well as a person who has always been active in the community of Cefalù, has created an event, which aims to bring art and literature closer to the public entitled: "Meeting between artists" . With a view to a desirable future centered on the development of tourism more attentive to the art and culture of the territory and beyond, this event aims to highlight the various existing potentialities, to create a constructive dialogue aimed at organizing a wider network of contacts with the world of the arts in order to sensitize the community on this important issue rightly considered strategic for the economic development of the territory.
