Post Processing / Certificate of Authenticity

When I take photos of landscapes I like to envision the eventual piece as a painting, from the preliminary take of the capture all the way through the final edit. After curating a style and attaining this aesthetic I have focused on selecting the correct paper, boarders & frames whilst closely supervising the printing process. I work to ensure the final result is a photo that can be admired as a painting, printed & packed with a signed certificate of authenticity.

When I am not in my East London studio, you will find me travelling across the UK and other parts of Europe to find hidden locations and explore off the beaten path. Prior to embarking on my journey, I plan a rough itinerary that will allow me to make adjustments as I go. I often shoot from sunrise so sunset, which, despite the long days can prove to be very rewarding for photographing landscapes in different conditions.

Signing prints for my upcoming exhibition

This was a day spent with my printers testing papers and signing prints for my upcoming London exhibition, 'Noumenon'. Nounemon will be made up of a series of 20 limited edition works highlighting rare, near elusive moments. Scenes emphasising the sole force of nature captured in a frame. Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances I have had to postpone the exhibition to a yet to be announced date.

    In the edit

There are 2 parts to my creative process; the shoot and the edit. Once I return from a shoot I spend alot of time editing my work, playing with new ideas and often making mistakes that lead to new processes. My main workflow happens within Lightroom & Photoshop and often will be soundtracked by ambient music as I find this has a big impact on my creativity.
