Happy Spring everyone. x
It's great to get out and paint in the open air (without a big coat). This is one of my favourite scenes - I return to it every year.
This South Downs scene is captured in the morning, just when the light hits the base of the trees. Later on in the summer the leaves block out the branches - so you have to get out early in the year to paint them.
the greens and blues really stand out - very inspirational.
As with all my works for sale, I welcome offers.
