- Hanging Boughs
Original artwork description
Painted on location by the river, this work uses my favourite peach-pink tones to capture the reflected light. The blues remind me of precious gemstones, as though set into the hanging branches. While I was painting, a swan happened to glide past, and I quickly captured its presence—a fleeting moment preserved within the painting.
