I am a Punjabi-Canadian mixed media artist based in Ontario, creating layered, culturally informed abstract works that explore identity, memory and transformation. My practice blends texture, symbolism and fragments of personal history to reflect the many places, my Indian heritage and lived experiences that have shaped my life. Originally trained in Art & Advertising Design at the New York City College of Technology, I returned to painting in 2020 after a long and fulfilling design career. In the past few years, my work has been showcased in various exhibitions across the Greater Toronto Area, including participation in the Art Gallery of Hamilton Art Sale. I am seeking new opportunities to showcase and sell my original artwork, so want to be an Artfinder artist! About my Elemental collection: Inspired by the elemental philosophy of Ayurveda, this collection reflects the timeless forces that shape our world: earth, water, fire, air and space. These elements, central to balance and well-being, form the quiet architecture of life. Through abstract scapes, I explore these elemental energies as metaphors for harmony, change and the subtle rhythms that move through nature and within us. There is often a quiet sense of motion within the work, like tides shifting beneath the surface - a reflection of my own journey across places, cultures and identities. Each piece becomes a dialogue between structure and surrender, where movement meets stillness.
