Artists in the News: Simon Tozer

UK-based printmaker Simon Tozer, creator of some of our favourite bears on the site, was featured in The Observer earlier this month, in an interiors feature along with his wife, artist Katie Wallis.

Simon is based in Bristol in the UK. He moved there from London in 2002, after working for several years as a scenic painter and muralist.

Simon’s work has been included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The National Open Art Competition and The Royal West of England Annual Open. Recent commissions include a limited edition print for The V & A shop, a giant strawberry themed Gromit, of Wallace and Gromit fame, and a raspberry themed Shaun the Sheep for The Grand Appeal, a charity set up by Aardman Animations.
