It's our birthday!

It's our birthday!

We're very proud to say that this weekend marks five years since we launched Artfinder. Back in 2013, we launched the Artfinder marketplace with just 14 artists, a small team and a big dream.

We knew that the art world wasn’t fair, or sustainable, especially for the eight million independent artists around the world who couldn’t make a living from their art. And we also knew that the world is full of people who value original, handmade stuff - and who probably didn’t know they could afford original art.

Fast forward five years, countless offices, a terrifying amount of take out and a lot of hard work, we now have 10,000 artists in 110 countries, offering over 400,000 original artworks - all for sale from as little as the cost of above-mentioned take out.

To celebrate this weekend only we are offering you an exclusive discount:

  • 10% discount off everything with code BIRTHDAY-10
  • 15% off over 15% off over £700 / €800 / $1000 with code BIRTHDAY-15

We’ve grown so quickly that we’ve barely had chance to step back and think about the essence of what makes us different, but it’s really that we believe in community - in a real community of artists and art lovers.

And just take a look at the numbers! Since 2013, we have seen:

  • 381K messages sent between artists and customers
  • 94.9K artists followed
  • 33.5m artworks favourited

And we've grown from 57 customers in that first month to over 50,000!

We've also compiled a handy list of our Top 20 Bestsellers who have been with us from the very beginning. So, prepare to get nostalgic with us and shop, shop, shop!
