  • Biography
    The artist graduated from the College of Culture and Arts in Mykolaiv in 2018. In June 2025, she obtained a Master of Arts degree at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her diploma project was carried out in the Painting Studio of Professor Stanisław Baj and in the Artistic Textile Studio led by Dr. Elwira Sztetner. For her outstanding artistic achievements, she received a scholarship from the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the academic year 2024/2025. In the academic years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025, she was also awarded the regional scholarship for students of art universities.
    Her current work focuses on the subject of the war in Ukraine. Through her art, she seeks to convey the emotions and experiences connected with the difficult time her homeland is facing.
    In addition to her artistic practice, Yana is an activist involved in various initiatives supporting Ukraine. She regularly takes part in charity auctions and protests. She combines diverse painting techniques – from traditional oil to contemporary mixed media. Her works often explore themes of identity, emotions, and human relationships, drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and social observations.
    Beyond painting, she is particularly interested in working with textiles, embroidery, and mosaics.
