Photography is my inner path – something I’ve developed independently, driven by a deep love of light, nature, and attentiveness. For years, I’ve photographed what moves me most: the landscapes of Warmia, where I live and which I dearly love. I’m drawn to morning light, mist, the silence of open fields, solitary trees, winding roads disappearing into fog — and the delicate world of nature up close: birds, insects, butterflies, plants, and fungi. I try to see the world like a painter — for me, photography is not merely documentation, but a way of telling stories through light, color, and atmosphere. Water is a strong source of inspiration for me. Warmia is a land of lakes — and it is by the water that I most often seek stillness. I love photographing lakes at sunrise, when the surface is calm, the light is soft, and everything is bathed in mist. When a fisherman in silhouette appears in the distance, or a swan or heron glides across the water — I know the moment has arrived. These scenes — peaceful, subtle, and full of light — carry something almost meditative. They are my favorite images: a whispered fragment of nature captured in a frame. I usually photograph at dawn. That’s when nature reveals its most fleeting and intimate face. I plan my outings in advance, follow the weather, wait for fog, quiet, and that rare moment when the light falls just right. Sometimes I stand in one place for hours — in the cold, the damp, and solitude — waiting for that perfect moment. That’s when my most atmospheric images are born: soft, quiet, almost dreamlike. My photos are full of calm. People often say they feel peaceful, full of light, and infused with a quiet tenderness toward the world. I aim to offer more than just a visual image — I want each photograph to be a moment of pause, a breath held still. I’m not interested in literalness, but in feeling. I try to create images that evoke gentle emotions, touch sensitivity, and hold attention. They are unique because they emerge in harmony with nature — in tune with its light and stillness. Every photo is a personal story — my own expression of wonder. Many viewers have noticed the painterly quality of my work — and the connection is not accidental. My photographs often resonate with the spirit of contemporary painting, where light, mood, and the ephemeral moment are central. I feel a strong kinship with the aesthetic of Abby Kasonik, an American painter known for her misty, ethereal landscapes and enigmatic figures veiled in fog. Her art, filled with mystery and quiet reflection, reflects the same atmosphere I seek in my photography — images built from silence, light, and fleeting impressions. I also often turn to macro photography. I love entering the world of tiny detail — observing the wings of a dragonfly, morning dew on a blade of grass, the delicate texture of a mushroom cap. This is close, tender photography that requires presence and attention. I try to show what often goes unnoticed — small lives, quiet forms, the world just beneath our feet. My work has been recognized many times — I hold the FIAP Bronze title and have received awards and distinctions in international photography competitions. I am a member of the Polish Nature Photographers’ Union and the Polish Photographic Society (Fotoklub RP). My photos have been exhibited in Poland and abroad — including in Norway, Iceland, Turkey, and Serbia. But above all, what matters most is that I can create in harmony with myself — in the rhythm of nature, with a camera in hand, eyes wide open, and heart present. I photograph to preserve beauty — the kind that often slips by unnoticed. And to share this quiet awe with others. I would like to offer my photography on Artfinder because it is a prestigious platform that brings together artists for whom art is not only a form of expression, but also a dialogue with sensitive viewers. I believe my work — atmospheric, full of light and quiet attentiveness — has its place there and can resonate with people who seek calm and authentic beauty. I want to share my art more widely, with those who appreciate subtlety and emotion. Just as important to me is the opportunity to build both artistic and financial independence through the sale of my work. Artfinder represents a chance to reach audiences around the world, to grow, and to become part of a community that values sincere, personal creativity.
