About Warren Kerley

I’m instinctively drawn to the entrancing energy of water and I use it as inspiration to build large, textural sculptures that convey not only its power but also the whimsical and uncontrollable intensity. Sculpture and painting are combined in my work. I use a range of textural approaches to capture movement that is both peaceful and powerful. Each piece thus has an exaggerated and explosive depth that is simply captivating. The vitality of water is captured and a striking visual impact is produced by using iridescent acrylic colours, resin, and a combination of bright and dark paint effects. The overpainting of the sculpted textures build to produce a final work of art that is strong, emotionally charged and hypnotic.  These original, unique pieces are available to private collectors, but bespoke commissions are also undertaken. All pieces are one-of-a-kind original. They are completely unique and cannot be duplicated, recreated or copied.
