About Viktor Solt

  • Biography
people are a mystery to me (myself included). observing human behavior does not necessarily lead to understanding, but still provides artistic inspiration. comics and graphic novels are another influence on my work.

recurring themes in my work are isolation and limitations of perception. the vibrant colors of some of my sculptures may appear to contradict these topics – but only until you consider that isolation can also be self-chosen and liberating and that limited perception can serve as protection against sensory overload.

my sculptures start out as virtual CAD models. to bring them into the real world, i combine 3d printed parts with wood, acrylic paint and textiles, such as linen fabric or felted wool.

Event: Salon de la sculpture – Steel, Wood, Stone & Co

    Dates: 23 May 2025 - 25 May 2025

    Venue: Hall O Differdange, Differdange

A space for exchange between artists and the public

The fair was built around two fundamental concepts: accessibility and conviviality. "We took on the challenge of reviving the purchase of works of art by realizing that a significant portion of the potentially interested public does not always dare to enter galleries," explain the organizers. Steel, Wood, Stone & Co. thus creates a true encounter between artists and visitors in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

    Exceptional artistic diversity

The event will bring together national and international artists with diverse techniques and styles. From chainsaw-carved wood sculptures to delicate ceramic creations, monumental metal works, and finely chiseled stone pieces, visitors will be able to discover the richness of this three-dimensional art. Each work tells a story that the artists will be happy to share with the public.

    Event: Fleet Art Fair

    Dates: 10 Oct 2024 - 13 Oct 2024

    Venue: Fleet Studios, London

A diverse range of contemporary artworks across multiple floors, thoughtfully curated to showcase the unique styles and voices of each artist. The Fleet Art Fair promises to be an engaging, artist-focused event, bringing together the best in contemporary art for collectors, enthusiasts, and the curious alike.
