  • My name is Vika Flartina(Viktoriia Epifanova). I graduated from the Stieglitz State Academy of Arts and Design in 2005-2011. Currently based in Berlin. I work absolutely every day and cannot live without it. I am always full of ideas and very productive. I participate in exhibitions. My works are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Italy and the USA. I was a member of the Union of Artists of Italy. I am inspired by nature, people and psychology. In my works, I explore the theme of human authenticity, the search for one's true self and consider the human personality as a unique set of layers. I convey this vision of a multi-layered human personality through many translucent layers, pouring them with very liquid paints, trying to trust the natural laws of the flow of paints, without using a brush. I just observe the process and help a little. Just as the harmonious development of personality occurs non-violently, parents only need to observe, protect and guide a little. It seems to me that it is the free casting of liquid paints and abstract plant forms that best reflect my view of man as a creation of nature. This is where my recognizable style was born - plant abstraction by casting.

In the 21st century a new model of harmonious coexistence between man and nature has not yet been found. Is it possible to restore this connection between us or is a full reboot and creation of new scenarios required?

    Philosophers and futurists propose radical options: either regressive rejection of technology and a return to the basic settings of humanity, or utopian integration of technology into the overall evolutionary process.

    Which scenario is more realistic? Artists might possess the gift of prophecy, and much like the demiurge they create their own vision of the situation.

    At the exhibition «REBIRTH» the artists will present their concepts of rebirth of human and natural relations and restore of lost connections, based on their experience and feelings.

    The Moscow gallery "LABORATORY OF POSSIBILITIES" from March 13 to 19, 2023 hosted the International Art Exhibition "I am a woman! I am the center of the world!".
