About Valerie Jobes
Biography
Having always lived in the countryside I am immersed in the changing seasons and the constant inspiration that brings. I have been drawing and painting since childhood but not until recent years had any formal training. My career took me into interior design but my passion has always been painting. I live in Devon near Dartmoor where I go walking in all weathers for inspiration, I hope my love of our beautiful countryside shows in my artwork.
I use acrylic paints and Ink in my work which gives texture and detail.
