About Karen Terzyan

  • Biography
I began creating art in the 1990s as a way to explore the inner workings of the self through bronze sculpture. My early works focused on transforming elements of flora and fauna into human-like forms—not merely as visual metaphors, but as representations of psychological and emotional growth. This transformation mirrored my own journey of self-discovery and identity. Over time, my work evolved into a more surreal direction, becoming a cast expression of the hidden emotional landscape we all carry. Each piece is part of a personal, almost Jungian exploration of what it means to feel, to change, and to be. Sharing my art on Artfinder allows me to connect with those who might resonate with these inner narratives, and to give new life to these forms through the eyes of others.
