Biography
My artistic practice is grounded in contemplation — a careful observation of color, light, and the rhythms of the surrounding world. Everything around my home becomes a source of inspiration: natural forms, urban environment, architecture, landscapes, flowers, insects — all manifestations of an inherent harmony of existence.
Working primarily with oil on canvas, I seek to convey this sense of harmony by reducing visual noise and focusing on the interaction of color, light, and rhythm. An essential part of my process is the search for a precise painterly balance, where simple natural forms unfold through the expressiveness of the medium and a free, sometimes bold manner of execution.
At the same time, the act of painting often brings forward personal memories — of my past, my family, and close ones. These emotions subtly transform into the “characters” of my works, most often embodied in flowers and butterflies. They become living presences, warm and genuine, interwoven into the fabric of the painting and continuing their journey within the canvas.
