I saw the Egg Girl on Bike painting on the Artfinder’s website - it caught my attention and imagination and thus, I decided to purchase it and make it a centrepiece when redecorating my flat in London. Since it arrived, it has given me so much joy. I admire it each morning hanging in my kitchen as I make my breakfast. As the weeks have passed and I grow to love its playfulness even more I decided to commission Ta the artist - a woman who lives several thousands of miles away and whom I had never met - to paint a picture for my Mom for her 93rd birthday present. A risk I hoped would be proved worth taking. I wrote Ta and asked if she could paint an Egg Girl with my Mom’s dog Maisy next to her. She responded quickly and with a big Yes and asked for me to send some photos. I explained we were on a tight deadline as my Mom’s birthday was in 3 weeks time and she lived In Canada. Ta assured me all would be fine, she would keep me posted on the progress of the commission and ensured me that it would be sent to my brother in Canada in time for him to wrap it up and give it to my Mom on her birthday. This is what I wrote to Ta after my Mom’s birthday..... “The Egg Girl with Best Friend Maisy Painting arrived on time for my brother to wrap and present to Mom on her birthday. She was absolutely thrilled with it!!! She loves it so much... the dog looks just like Maisy! I am going to attach a photo of my Mom just after she opened it. She was also very touched with your note and addition drawing of Maisy!!! She is having it framed this week and has chosen a special spot in the living room for it. I can’t thank you enough for your care in creating and sending the painting, your thoughtfulness in including the drawing of Maisy and your continual contact with me throughout the whole process to ensure I was happy with it and up to date on progress. I deeply appreciate this as you have made my Mom’s 93rd birthday very special.“ I would highly recommend Ta’s art work to anyone who is interested. It is wonderful to own and Ta is a lovely individual, very easy to deal with, efficient and professional. I will look at purchasing again in the future. If I could, I would give Ta 10 stars... she is so kind, loving and talented. We I have been lusting after the Underground 4 for months! I’m so happy I finally have the painting. Thank you so much for such a beautiful piece!

I'm absolutely blown away by this piece. Ta is incredibly talented and it's a real privilege to own something so beautiful. Also the communication and customer service was impeccable.
