Biography
Shelly Floyd is the creator of Foldism, a sculptural abstract art form where layers of painted material are shaped, folded, and woven into dimensional compositions. Her process begins with hand-poured paint skins that she peels, sculpts, and reassembles, creating flowing structures that blur the line between painting and sculpture. Each piece captures the quiet strength found in transformation, moments where chaos resolves into harmony.
Guided by intuition, Floyd’s work reflects the beauty of imperfection and the human capacity to evolve.
