About Santi Flores
Biography
SANTI FLORES (SPAIN).
Santi Flores's work arises from the exploration of human identity through steel, a firm and resistant material that, in his creative process, is transformed into emotion, gesture, and presence.
His sculptures, recognizable by their stylized figures and raised hands, symbolize the affirmation of the individual within the collective. Each piece represents a unique voice that, at the same time, forms part of a whole. This duality between the individual and the collective is the conceptual core of his work.
Urban space is a fundamental element in his work. His interventions engage with the architecture and the rhythm of the city, inviting the viewer to pause, observe, and reflect. The monumental scale of many of his sculptures reinforces this direct connection with the environment and the public.
Through a contemporary, direct, and symbolic language, Santi Flores investigates themes such as presence, solitude, belonging, and human emotion, transforming metal into a living expression of our shared condition.
