The item aged markedly since this picture and looked very different when I received it. I didn't buy his excuse for for the difference.

Raku 65, Had been in the studio for several years and was always a favorite. I talked to the buyer and mentioned that works with a copper matte glaze to age and fade somewhat. I don’t use that glaze any longer accept when re-firing older works. I suppose it is my fault for not updating the image sooner. The buyer did return the work but, upon unpacking the piece I found that the cover was broken due to poor packing, making the piece useless.

The urn I purchased from Ron is absolutely beautiful and his talent is truly remarkable. Not only was the piece as he described but his service was exceptional.
