Rob’s painting is a joy to behold and has place of pride hanging in my living room. What’s more, I had first seen a similar work of his but it was too large for the space where I could hang his work. He offered to do a smaller version similar to the large work and it worked perfectly. It is outstanding. Ron was regularly in communication about the progress of the commission and then the shipping to Australia. The only hiccup at all was that the painting was sent in a wood frame which sets off Customs ‘alarm bells’ in Australia. I failed to think of that or alert Rob so the fault was entirely mine. Yet, when the not inconsiderable duty was assessed against me before the painting could be released to me, Ron offered to reimburse me half the cost of the import duties! I absolutely refused his unbelievable generosity and understanding. Rob van Hoek is a very talented artist - but also a trustworthy, generous person on integrity. When you see his beautiful works, buy them!, You will have no regrets.

It was delivered super fast, the painting were in perfect shape, very well packaged. I received certificates of authenticity, a note from the artist and nice free cards! Super recommended , beautiful paintings !
