About ROBERT KRASZEWSKI
Biography
My art journey began at 12 with a parrot drawing for my cousin. My aunt, and teacher, recognized my talent and convinced my parents to enroll me in art high school. Fine Art Academy in Warsaw, Poland was a natural next step. Over the next 30 years, I worked in logo design, corporate identity, advertising, illustration, coin design, and interior design, supporting major clients nationwide, and winning awards. Now, I'm back to painting, using classic techniques like watercolor or oil, letting the subject and desired effect guide my choice of media. Watercolor offers the challenge of limited time and uniqueness of blending colors, which are most suitable for capturing shadows and reflections of fleeting moments. Oil allows for detailed work over time, multiple re-touches and exactitude of details. Enjoy all of it and more in my Gallery.
