    I often go into Ely and the surrounding area sketching. It is particularly nice at this time of year as the autumn colours begin to show.

    For smaller works and sketching I like to travel light but still, if possible, use an easel. This is a light weight sketching easel which I bought from a gallery in Dumfries more than 30 years ago.
