Preston M. Smith contacted me almost immediately after I placed my order. He was very friendly and professional. He had my order packed up the same day. It was packed to withstand nuclear war and the painting arrived framed, in perfect condition, ready to hang. The painting is even more gorgeous in person than on my monitor. The colors are vibrant and the strokes are energetic and interesting. I love the moodiness of the piece. I see new exciting things every time I look at it. Preston was kind enough to share a little of what he was feeling when he painted it. He sent a Certificate of Authenticity, a nice handwritten note, and coupon for a discount if I wanted to buy more of his art. I have already bought a second piece which is on its way as I write this. Overall, an excellent transaction and I would recommend this artist wholeheartedly, both for his amazing art and his communication and quick transaction.

Suzanne! I can't pass up mentioning what you said about the painting being "packed to withstand nuclear war", ha ha! I love this statement and I guess that is an accurate depiction of my mindset when I package my paintings! :) I am soooo happy that it arrived safely and that you are very satisfied with the whole process and, above all, LOVE the painting! It would be good to know that not only import duty but also 20% VAT is to be paid to DHL.I guess my picture went back to the sender because I did not pay for the VAT quickly enough and therefor the final delivery was delayed.

Krystina, First off, I am so glad to know that you are happy with the paintings! That makes me happy. :) Secondly, I am really sorry there was a miscommunication between the VAT, duty charge, DHL and Artfinder. I want you to know that I personally, lovingly and very carefully packaged your artwork and had it picked up the same day as your order. I packaged it to arrive safely and efficiently. On my end it was set to make it to your home within 3 days of purchase, internationally, which I was very happy with. I am sorry that there was multiple issues after that point with DHL and that you feel that the charge was not communicated better ahead of time. I hope that the paintings brighten your space and I am very happy you like them. Absolutely delighted with both my artwork and the artist. Preston was so helpful in entertaining swiftly and efficiently all the questions I had pre purchase and then post purchase the delivery was so quick and he took the time to check up on the delivery also. Now the artwork is on the wall, I could not be happier. I would not hesitate in purchasing more of his artwork (and will be looking forward the rest of my house as and when time permits)!
