Having spent years capturing the world through the lens, I now explore it with a brush. As a former photographer—an award-winning one, actually—I've always been drawn to observing life's nuances. Now, I translate those observations into whimsical paintings that seek out the joy and humor hidden within the everyday.
My work has developed into a celebration of the lighthearted moments that often go unnoticed. I aim to reveal the fun and unexpected beauty in ordinary scenes, inviting viewers to see the world with a fresh, playful perspective. While I don't exclusively use oils, my paintings, they can start out and about with a sketch pad observing victims…… sorry subjects!! that driven my desire to capture the essence of life's little ironies and delightful surprises.
