Omar Obaid has been an independent full-time artist for over 10 years. Omar creates original abstract paintings direct from his West London studio using a variety of techniques to add texture and definition to his work.
Omar enjoys creating large artworks filled with movement and colour. His abstract work is inspired by everyday life. This can be seen in his artwork from the strong gestures and movements in his brush strokes. Omar's signature mark-making explores abstraction in various forms as he expresses his emotion onto canvas.
Omar's paintings have been commissioned for commercial and residential projects around the world, including the world's largest exhibition centre in Las Vegas, USA as well as for TV shows including 'Suits' and 'Million Dollar Listing' on Bravo TV.
