Biography
What drives me to create art is a deep need to capture the essence of life whether that’s movement, emotion, or quiet strength. I work with recycled materials like car body panels and metal, giving discarded objects new meaning and form. Sculpture lets me say more with less, and I’m always chasing that balance.
My pieces often feel fragmented or in flux suspended between strength and vulnerability. By paring back detail, I invite the viewer to engage more deeply with what remains, to connect with the work in a more personal way.
Drawing and painting are a vital part of my process. They help me explore ideas and refine the forms that eventually become sculpture. I enjoy working at both small and large scales I think it’s important as an artist to switch between the two. It keeps my eyes sharp, my thinking fresh, and constantly pushes me to see things differently.
