About Natalia Okoń-Rudnicka

  • Biography
After graduating with honors from the State High School of Fine Arts in Wrocław (in 1998 I was awarded an Artistic Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art), I continued my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Industrial Design. I completed my degree with a diploma in the Visual Communication Studio under Prof. Mieczysław Piróg, along with a painting annex under Prof. Krzysztof Skarbek (2005). Since then, I have been working in painting, illustration, and both applied and fine graphic design. For the past seventeen years, I have also been teaching graphic design at the same high school from which I graduated. In 2011, I designed the winning application for Wrocław as the European Capital of Culture 2016, entitled Spaces for Beauty. I am passionate about art history and literature, and above all about creative work in all its forms, with a particular focus on painting and broadly understood design. I strive to continually develop my artistic practice. However, painting remains my greatest passion. Selling my works on Artfinder would help me further develop my art, run my studio and give me the motivation not to give up in this difficult field.
