    Originally from Bordeaux, Matías Machado discovered art through graffiti, using urban space as his first medium of expression. This raw relationship with gesture, color, and visual rhythm immediately shaped a free, instinctive, and visceral artistic approach.
    In 2013, he enrolled at the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux (EBABX), where he developed a solid foundation in both contemporary art theory and practice. This academic training marked a turning point, transforming graffiti from a street practice into a more complex and elaborate visual language, influenced by abstract expressionism and contemporary cubism.
    Today, Matías Machado creates a unique body of work using oil, acrylics, spray paint, and oil pastels. His paintings feature fragmented and hybrid figures, oscillating between abstraction and figuration. Each piece is a vibrant composition where visual chaos is transformed into structure, where the raw energy of graffiti combines with refined painting techniques.
