Art has always been an essential part of my being. Painting is not an escape, but a necessity—a way of being present and a powerful means of understanding and expressing both myself, my emotions and the world. It is my deepest form of connection with who I am, a way to give meaning to what lies beneath the surface, within me and around me. My art is rooted in the emotions and transformations that shape us as human beings. I draw inspiration from nature—especially from flowers—as well as from profound relationships, family life, and the play of light and its absence. The sun, and the dialogue between brightness and shadow, fascinates me; it reflects not only the essence of matter but also the complexity of inner life. In my paintings, flowers go beyond their natural form. They become symbols of growth and self-discovery, embodying the delicate balance between fragility and resilience. Each petal echoes the inner journey we all experience—a process in which strength often emerges not only in light, but especially in the depths of darkness, where renewal and power quietly take root. For me, beauty reveals itself in this interplay between light and shadow—neither would carry meaning without the other. Through my work, I aim to open spaces of connection: with oneself, with others, with nature, and with the divine. I want to sell on Artfinder because it offers a space where authentic, original art is truly valued and reaches people who are actively seeking meaningful works. For me, painting is not only about creating but also about connecting—each artwork carries a story, an emotion, a fragment of presence that deserves to be shared. I prefer working with oil for the fluidity it offers through its medium, and I am drawn to large canvases for the sense of freedom they provide and for the powerful impact of monumental works. I enjoy the experience of being immersed in my own creation, entering into dialogue with it rather than seeking to control it. For me, painting is a process of collaboration—an exchange between gesture, color, and emotion, where the artwork gradually reveals its own voice. Large formats allow me to step inside this process fully, to feel enveloped by the work, as if I am both creating and being created in return. I exhibited my works in Bucharest and Brasov.
