A fine artist who pursues the boundary.
When I walk in a town I have never been to and see the scenery, or experience the activities of people there and the memory of a place, I always get inspired. It is my life’s work to walk in a strange city, and that's all the origin of the creation.
It’s the period like you can feel like you know everything easily just by swiping the touchscreen or surfing the internet. I don't deny that we're in a world of convenience, however, I want to question whether we really see and understand the world (or you) in a true sense. I want to convey we must remember that the truth is in the world that we actually touch, experience and see with our five senses, and that our perception could be diverse.
My work explores the origin of a painting, using a form of landscape painting as a starting point. I choose only one action of it: reproducing the colours in landscape. I believe, as a result, it would reveal the (un-)necessity of a painting viewed by the people living in today’s society. And in the result of communicating that art would be essential to nurture humanity and has the potential to accept others, I believe it will enrich people's hearts and make the world a little more kind.
