About Micjan

I create art as a result of years of training, discipline, and continuous studio practice. My work focuses on figurative painting and contemporary cityscapes, developed through layered techniques using oil and acrylic. I often build my compositions on bold, expressive underpaintings, using glazing and structural effects to achieve depth, contrast, and a dynamic surface.

My background includes a five-year program at the National High School of Fine Arts and Design, where I studied classical drawing, anatomy, and painting. Today, my process is rooted in technical precision, yet it remains open to experimentation with color, texture, and light. Each painting is an original, hand-painted work — never a print or reproduction — shaped through a deliberate and physical approach to the medium.
