  • Biography

    Mexak Xazaryan was born in 1966 in Yerevan, Armenia. He received his formal art education at the prestigious Terlemezyan Fine Arts College, graduating in 1981, and later continued his studies at the Fine Art Institute of Yerevan, from which he graduated in 1985.

    Since completing his education, Xazaryan has been actively involved in the contemporary art scene, participating in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Belgrade, Leipzig, Warsaw, Canada, Belgium, France, Armenia, and the United States. His artistic practice reflects a deep engagement with form, color, and expressive composition, shaped by both classical training and personal artistic exploration.

    His works are exhibited in various art galleries and are held in private collections internationally. In Armenia, his paintings are also presented at the Vernissage of Yerevan, one of the country’s most significant and vibrant art centers, further affirming his presence and recognition within the Armenian art community.
