About Maurizio Landriscina

  • Biography
I am a photographer specialized in nature, landscape, and reportage photography, driven by a deep passion for telling authentic and timeless stories through images. Over the years, I have traveled extensively in Africa and Asia, collaborating with an international NGO to document humanitarian projects in fragile yet dignified and resilient communities. These field experiences have enriched my perspective, teaching me a respectful, attentive, and deeply human approach. At the same time, I have developed a body of work focused on landscape and nature photography, exploring untouched environments and seeking the quiet beauty of places. In recent years, I have concentrated my research on Italy and various regions of Europe, rediscovering often overlooked territories where nature, memory, and culture intertwine in harmony. I have been awarded in several photography contests, most notably at the prestigious Trierenberg Circuit, the International Photography Award and Px3 Paris, recognitions that confirm the quality and impact of my images.  For me, every photograph is much more than a shot: it is a lived experience, a moment of presence and listening. Through my images, I invite viewers to slow down, observe, and reconnect with the world around us in a genuine way.
