  • Creating Art Intuitively And Experimenting

In this video, I take you into my garden, surrounded by the quiet hum of nature, where I began painting “Ascetic Eves”. There was no strict plan, no defined end goal—just the desire to create something that felt like a forest, alive and breathing. For some reason, my hands kept reaching for autumnal tones—warm ochres, burnt oranges, and soft golds—even though the air suggested summer. Perhaps it was the shifting mood of the weather, or perhaps my own inner seasons at play. This painting unfolded intuitively, layer by layer, texture by texture. There were moments of doubt, where I stepped back and felt unsure about what was taking shape on the canvas. But it’s in those very moments—when there’s no roadmap and you’re simply experimenting—that I feel most like an artist. And I’ve learned that’s when you must lean in, keep going, trust the process. Because the work often surprises you. It begins to speak back, and suddenly, the story is there. 🎨 “Ascetic Eves” is now a completed piece—born of spontaneity, persistence, and the quiet magic of a garden studio.
