About Lusine Keryan

My name is Lusine Keryan, I am a full-time artist from Los Angeles. Now I am successfully developing in the USA and I paint a lot of paintings to comission. I have my own very beautiful workshop, and I hope that I will be able to post photos from it on your platform. I want to go back to the beginning and tell you about my childhood. I was born in Dilijan, Armenia, a city with a rich cultural atmosphere and strong artistic traditions. From an early age, I showed interest in art and began my art education at the Hovhannes Sharbazyan Art School in Dilijan. Later, I continued my studies at the College of Artistic Crafts, where I studied carpet weaving and decorative arts. I got my higher education at the Yerevan State Art Academy, where I studied in the field of fashion designer. Academic training has helped me develop a deep understanding of composition, form, and artistic language. My artistic journey began very early: I had my first solo exhibition at the age of nine. Later, I organized several more solo exhibitions in Dilijan, each of which featured more than 60 paintings. The essence of my art is as follows: "People who buy my paintings should remember their dreams. Looking at my work, they should remember their true path and vocation and follow their dreams. My work is not about my dreams, but about the dreams of the viewer, of every person who saw my painting. About those innermost desires, which are sometimes scary to admit to yourself and go through the thorns to the stars in order to realize your most cherished dream. My main desire, goal, and even dream is to show the path of an artist, the path of a girl who comes from a small town to meet her dream of becoming a world-famous artist. And the task of the viewer, looking at my work, is to remember his dream and look for a way to realize it." And then I moved to the USA and started actively developing. I participate in group exhibitions and art fairs every year.
