Event: Solo Show "Landscape in motion"
Dates: 6 May 2025 - 30 Jun 2025
The Thomery media library is delighted to welcome artist Linda Clerget for her exhibition “Paysages en mouvement” from May 6 to June 28.
Linda Clerget highlights the narrative dimension of her landscapes, which seem to capture a suspended moment, an atmosphere, a story in the making. Inspired by nature, poetry and the light of the places she travels through, her paintings oscillate between the real and the imaginary, an invitation to contemplate and rediscover the landscape through an emotional and sensory prism.

Come and meet her on Tuesday May 6 at 7.30pm.

“Global Cultures: A Visual Journey” invites viewers to embark on an artistic exploration across borders, delving into the diverse landscapes, traditions, and stories of different cultures around the world. This exhibition shifts the focus from belonging to one place, to the experience of discovering and engaging with new ones.
The collection will celebrate travel as a transformative experience that opens doors to new perspectives, cultures, and histories.
In the Global Cultures Exhibition, my work reflects the universal language of color as a bridge between cultures, emotions, and landscapes. I reinterpret the local landscapes I encounter—like the forest of Fontainebleau—infusing them with my affinity for exotic and tropical aesthetics. This process of reimagining is both an act of poetry and escapism, allowing me to transform familiar surroundings into vibrant, dreamlike spaces. For me, color is a mystical impression, transcending boundaries and inviting connection

Biography
Linda Clerget is a French contemporary painter inspired by nature, emotion and the spiritual essence of life. Working from her studio near the forest of Fontainebleau, she creates luminous and poetic landscapes that invite contemplation and inner peace.
Her work blends abstraction and figuration through expressive brushstrokes, vibrant colours, and intuitive gestures. Linda's practice is rooted in a desire to connect with the sacred in nature — to offer her viewers a space of serenity and healing.
She explores several thematic series: floral abstractions, healing nature scenes, and "biostellaires" – cosmic landscapes where animals and flowers meet the stars.
Her work is collected internationally and has been exhibited in Paris, London and New York.
