About Oleksii Iakurin

I am a contemporary artist focusing primarily on expressive oil portraits. I love capturing emotion, character, and the subtle play of light on the human face. Most of my recent work explores modern figurative art through bold brushstrokes, soft palettes, and a strong sense of personality.

Although I currently concentrate on portraiture in oil, I also create occasional watercolor pieces. My earlier collections of cityscapes and landscape works in both oil and watercolor are still available in my shop, even though I no longer paint them as often. These pieces reflect an important part of my artistic journey and remain meaningful expressions of my evolving style.
